Nîmes has a train station where the TGV stops, an airport and of course several highway connections. Marseille is an hour’s drive away and Montpellier 40 minutes. At the moment the estate is taken care of by a bee keeper.
The living space of all the buildings together is about 600m2. The main house is habitable but needs to be brought up to date. Any buyer will need to reserve a budget to renovate. The beautiful main house with many original details, the size of the estate and the location, mean that the buildings can be used for many different things.
Main house and connected outbuildings are occupied by the current owners and their 3 children. The other outbuildings need to completely renovated.
-spacious freestanding barn (300m2) with concrete floor.
-bread oven to be renovated.
The mas is located in the middle of the estate which ensures complete privacy. The fact that there are no rights of way or other easements on the property is quite rare.
The estate can be accessed by the driveway which is mostly paved and protected by plane trees closer to the mas. Also close to the mas a water feature which could be easily expanded because it is fed by a small stream flowing on the estate.
About 5, 5 hectares are dedicated to apricot orchards, the rest is mainly used for flowering field for the bees and the rest is grazed on by the owner’s sheep. There are 2 ‘forages’ or wells, one of which is equipped with a pump and used but there is also an original water basin to be restored and an irrigation system fed by the Bas-Rhône.
It is possible to get ADSL internet and there is good cell phone connection.
This really is a unique estate with many possibilities in stunning surroundings but close to amenities.
